2. I am unable to log into my Canvas account?
- First, verify you are entering the proper credentials for your Canvas account by logging into your SJSU email account. If you still can’t login to your SJSU email, it is possible that your SJSUOne credentials have expired or you are entering incorrect credentials.

3. How to bookmark the Canvas login page?
- After you logged into your Canvas account, click on Bookmarks at the top of the window and select "Bookmark This Page". You can also bookmark the page by clicking on the Star symbol on the right end of the address bar.
- Note: Do not bookmark the login page for Canvas, where you have to enter your SJSUOne credentials. It is an encrypted page and will conflict with the old cookies on your computer.
4. I am unable to find my courses in Canvas.
- If you recently enrolled in your courses, wait for 24 hours to see if you can access the courses in Canvas. If you still can't access your courses, hover over “Courses”'s tab on the top of your Canvas homepage and click on "View all courses". You should see all the courses you have enrolled for that semester. If you do not see a course listed, please contact your professor to ensure that Canvas will be used for that course.

5. How do I setup the Profile picture for my Canvas account?
- Once you are logged into your Canvas account, click on your name on the top right corner. Hover over the default picture on the middle of the screen. Then, click on the pencil to upload a new image.

6. Can I attach files or documents in Discussions for my course in Canvas?
- Yes, you can attach files or documents in “Discussions” only if the Instructor has allowed it for the students.
7. I am unable to take my quiz in the Respondus Lockdown Browser.
- Download the Respondus Lockdown Browser by accessing the quiz that requires you to use the “Respondus Lockdown Browser”. If the Respondus Lockdown Browser is not installed on your computer, it will ask you to download it once you open your quiz. Once you download and install the software, close all other windows and open the Respondous Lockdown Browser from the location you installed it. Select SJSU-Canvas in the dropdown list. You can then take your quiz in the Respondous Lockdown Browser.

8. Can I start a new conference only for my Group members in Canvas?
- Yes, you can create a new conference only for your group members for a particular course in Canvas. To do that, go to your group by hovering over Courses and Groups on your Canvas home page. Once you are in your group click on “Conferences” on the left panel and select “New Conferences”.

9. How can I preview the annotations for my assignments in Canvas?
- To see the feedback for your assignments, click on Grades on the left panel and then click on the assignment that you want to check the comments for. Once you open the assignment, click on the icon for “Preview the Document”.

10. How do I do peer reviews for my courses in Canvas?
- You can do the peer reviews by assessing the assignment you have been assigned to and commenting on the submitted assignment. You can do that only when you have submitted your assignment. Once you submit your assignment you can see the “Assigned Peer Reviews” option on the Right Panel.

11. How to find the syllabus for my courses in Canvas?
- Log into your Canvas account and click on the course you want to open the syllabus for. Once you are in the course home page, click on Syllabus on the life panel. You may also be able to find your syllabus in the “Files” or “Modules” sections on the left panel.
12. How can I access my ePortfolio?
- Log into your Canvas account, and click on settings on the top right corner. Next, on the left panel, click on ePortfolio. Then, you can create or access your current ePortfolio.

13. How to share my ePortfolio with others?
- To share your ePortfolio with others, click on ePortfolio on the left panel. Next, click on the ePortfolio you created. In the middle of the page, you should see a link that says ‘’Copy and share this link to give others access to your private ePortfolio’’. Right click on the link and select “Copy Link Location” for PC users or “Copy Link Address” for Mac users. Once you have copied the link, you can either email this link to others or share it in discussions etc.
