#2 Mystery of the Missing Graphic

For some unknown reason, in some cases you can simply drag and drop a graphic into a window like this in Canvas (in edit mode), or select "copy image" and then paste, and it will appear and display as it is dragged/pasted in. But, this does not always work.

To make sure that you Canvas site is displaying properly always check it in another browser. I keep a "clean" browser (no saved passwords) to check how pages display and also to check students access if they come to my office. There are plenty of free browsers available for download.

If you find out that your graphics are not there, you need to upload them to files.

Ted's Speed Trick

Part 1

When using multiple graphics in one page, it is quicker to add a number to the title of graphic (Ulrich6.png) so you can quickly insert them. If you number them this way, they will dsplay in order

Part 2

Rather than using the Files function in the tab to your right (in edit mode) go to the main files page (navigation bar on the left) and upload there. The reason is that on the main file page you can select multiple file all the same time and upload in a batch.

Once the files are loaded go back to the page that need the graphics and insert them by clicking on them via the images tab.
