News for June/July
FCAT for COSS is renewed for Fall and Spring! Thanks to the generous support and foresight of our Interim Dean, Current Associated Dean, and who-knows-what-else-they-are-making-her-do-now Jan English-Lueck the FCAT program in COSS has been saved! We are only one of two colleges (Science) that chose to invest in faculty training when the University dropped the ball on it. Thanks Jan and thanks to those Chairs who expressed support for the program! Once again, Social Sciences leads the way!
One caveat is that I am only on for half-time (.1) in the fall as the back-up class I scheduled in lieu of the up-in-the-air FCAT position is full! I will be back for a full .2 in the spring. Still, I am available for training and development at times over the summer and during the fall term.
In preparation for fall 2014 I am available to come in to your departments and do workshops. I am available August 4-8, 20-22, and once classes start August 25. I am mostly in email contact during the summer, so if you have issues or need help when prepping for fall, let me know. Schedule times NOW to avoid the rush.
