Turnitin: Now only via Canvas

SJSU has an account with Turnitin

Starting on June 1, 2014, Turnitin, a plagiarism detection software, will only be available through the integration with Canvas. The version previously available through login on the Turnitin website will no longer be available due to FERPA concerns. That site asks for student social security numbers.

The integrated version of Turnitin, accessed by logging into Canvas, at https://sjsu.instructure.com, provides all of the same capabilities and functionalities that were available on the Turnitin website version. This includes Originality Check, GradeMark, PeerMark, Grade Anything, and ETS® e-rater.
