Our research was looking at how social media plays an effect on romantic relationships, specifically Facebook.  Our research question looks at how people use social media to maintain romantic relationships.  Our hypothesis states that people use social media for validity of their romantic relationships. We have conducted our interviews and focus groups as well as dispersed our surveys.  So far it has been a bit of a struggle but we are gathering a lot of great information that will be useful in our paper.  This research is something that we feel can continue as a future research topic seeing as how new forms of social media is being introduced consistently.
