Directions:
This workshop consists of a self-paced slide show, tasks for you to complete and bring to class, as well as links and basic information below. The slides are available in Keynote and PDFs (PDFs are accessible for screen readers). These slides are plain and designed to download fast and simply provide you with information you need for this course. You must submit the required materials here AND participate in the in class workshop for credit.

How should qualitative research be evaluated?
Check these websites out for a great guide on evaluating qualitative data.
To earn credit for this workshop you must (submit in one document):
- Include your coding from the example interview question, the text and coding from your related focus group question, and the statistical breakdown from survey question #1.
- Examine the Interview and FG coding for the example question and the quantitative survey question #1 statistics.
- Write a paragraph (150-250 words) that describes the data and how it supports or contradicts itself across the different methods. Use at least one exemplar quote from the interview (use interviewees first name) and one exemplar quote from the focus group (use a participant's first name) and statistics from the survey.
- Submit to Canvas as an attached file.
- Come to class, make sure you can access your materials, be prepared to work in teams.
