If you did not submit required materials (consent forms, coding sheets. etc.) for the first submission. Attach them here. All attached files must be clearly identified (eg. Survey coding) and be in Word or pdf formats.
Carefully review all comments both inline at the bottom of your graded Final Write-up. Your revised paper should be of high enough quality to use in the 199C course. Moreover, this should stand as significant evidence of your ability to conduct social science research. Revisions should be submitted using this format:
- DO NOT simply revise over the corrected submission! DO NOT resubmit with instructor comments or corrections still on the assignment. Download and use the revision form provided.
- At the bottom of the form there is a revision section. In this section list every error or suggestion/comment from your submission and below it what steps you took to change or correct it. This is how the pros do it. The easiest way to set this up is to copy and paste flagged errors and instructor comments directly into the list. For simple errors like spelling, just write "corrected." For instructor comments such as "You must have a rationale for participant selection" you would respond below it with "I added in my rationale."
- Failure to address any flagged errors or design/content issues will draw stiff penalties. Do not simply copy your first submission.
- If you did not include enough data and analysis in your Discussion, you may have to add a significant amount of new materials. Is is okay, for example, to go out and do more interviews or try and get more survey responses.
