• The path of action of a character’s center of gravity (CG) is a parabolic arc.
• The apparent path of action is flattened if the CG shifts location within the body, such as when raising the arms or legs.
• As with falling motion, the time in the air only depends on the height of the jump.
• Wire work distorts the timing of jumps.
