Resources for Accessible, Equitable, Inclusive and Effective Use of Educational Technology

There are already quite a few resources peppered throughout the required Jump Start modules, so, if you're feeling overwhelmed, please know that you have plenty of time to feel more confident and competent in your use of educational technologies to support accessible, equity-minded, and inclusive teaching and learning.  Consider this optional module a repository of ideas and suggestions that may be useful to you as you plan for Fall semester and beyond; however, if it feels like too much too soon, just remember that it's here and come back as you need.

There are a number of key websites at SJSU where you can find resources to strengthen your teaching.  In addition to those directly associated with the Center for Faculty Development Links to an external site. and eCampus Links to an external site., we also support the Teach Anywhere Links to an external site. and Learn Anywhere Links to an external site. websites.  You may also find helpful resources on the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Links to an external site. website and IT's Work Anywhere Links to an external site. website.

Moreover many of the programs developed by CFD and eCampus have "share" versions, by which we mean that, even if you're not enrolled in a particular certificate program or institute, you are still able to re/view the content in a self-guided manner.  Here are "share" versions of the SJSU Teach Online Certificate Program and SJSU's Resilient Course Design Institute.

Please know that there are colleagues (including, for example, instructional designers) here to help you do your best as teacher-scholars at SJSU.  You can always find us on campus in the IRC (2nd Floor), or via email:  <cfd@sjsu.edu> and <eCampus@sjsu.edu>
