Other Considerations
-
Resources: For this course there are downloadable readings, links to audio, video and other textual information that are the content of this course. Course content can be accessed within each module.
-
Time: Put aside a set amount of time each day or every other day for this course. It might be an hour to read, it might be 20 minutes to read through discussions and respond. It might be to do and or complete an assignment. What we've learned from other cohorts is that you need to have time to read & "digest" the materials.
-
Interaction: Your classmates are a resource for learning and the discussions and other activities that will be a part of this class provide a way to learn and work with each other.
- Participate in the "Discussions". Participation in discussion is a critical part of your learning in an online environment. You are encouraged to visit the discussions several times a week to see what your fellow students have discovered, to comment on their ideas, and share information you have found. The discussion is a living, breathing conversation that can really add to your course satisfaction in the online portion of this course environment.
Communication
- Please post general course-related questions in the Q&A Discussion so that everyone can benefit from our conversation. Please contact me directly for matters of a personal nature. I will reply to course-related questions and email within 24 hours during the week, up to 48 hours on the weekend.
