Introduction to the lecture notes

This module contains all the lecture material for the course in pdf and video formats organized by topic and within each topic organized as follows:

First:  The pdf lecture notes: These are a duplicate of the ppts that are used in the lectures.  Here you have what I will cover in the recorded lectures.  You may take notes on these by adding notes in pdf and saving them.  If you don't know how to do that there are various quick tutorials on this subject on-line.  "How to take notes in pdf" will return many possibilities.  You'll need to pick the ones that match up with your computer equipment and abilities.

Second: The video lectures in voice over ppts in mp4 format.  These are links to videos with Closed Captioning.  When you enter the video look to the lower right for the white boxed, "CC" symbol.  click on that, select, "English" and the captioning will accompany the video.   I don't believe you can download these, though, they can only be viewed through the link.

Third:  The video lectures in voice over ppts in mp4 format, NOT captioned but these can be downloaded to your computer.

The notes are organized very simply starting with 1.  A simple coordination with the schedule found at the end of the syllabus will give you the correct dates for each of the lectures.  You may either view them here or download them to your computer for viewing depending on which format you choose.  If you intend to make notes on them you will need to download them and save changes to your computer.
