Pay for your Fees / Tuition
How are fees/tuition calculated?
Students pay based on their CA residency (Links to an external site.) (Non-residents pay the Fall 2021 Basic Registration Fee (Links to an external site.)s plus $396/unit) and number of units they are registered for.
When is tuition due?
Your tuition due date / dead line depends on when you registered for classes and if you have financial aid. Most students who have financial aid will see a "Fee Deferral" (Links to an external site.) on the MySJSU student center. Usually, this will means their fees or tuition is extended to another date.
However, if you do NOT see a "Fee Deferral" on your account, you will need to pay for your fees. (Links to an external site.)
What if I do not pay on time?
Students who do not pay on time will have their courses dropped. This includes all waitlisted courses. It will be as if you did not register for classes. If you are waiting on Financial Aid, your courses will still be dropped if there is not "Fee deferral" on your MySJSU account.
Is there an installment plan available?
Yes. You can elect to pay monthly. Please look at the installment plan webpage. (Links to an external site.)
I have military benefits. How do I use them?
