Students with Disabilities
The Accessible Education Center (AEC) serves students who require accommodations to access to course content or perform to the best of their ability on tests. Students who had IEPs or 504s in high school are strongly encouraged to register with the AEC.
What to expect:
- An application/registration process to become eligible for services. This includes providing documentation or working with their specialist to determine the student's needs.
- A student portal that the student can "activate" so that accommodations are included in specific courses.
- Personalized accommodations that could include a note taker, a separate place to take a test, interpreter, etc.
A good place to begin is to view the FAQs section for new students.
