MyRoadmaps

MYTH: Students need to follow the roadmap in order to graduate in 4 years.

REALITY: Students to complete graduation requirements Links to an external site.. Graduating "on time" is relative to the individual's math eligibility (in most cases).

  1. All majors in the College of Engineering have courses which are sequential, meaning you have to take (some) courses in order.
  2. To be on the safe side, always prioritize registering for Math in your first term.
  3. The roadmaps, for the most part, assumes you will be eligible to take MATH 30 (for programs that require calculus-based physics) or MATH 71 (for programs that require algebra-based physics; therefore, if you need to take Precalc or you already took Calc 1, the roadmap will not adequately represent the courses for which you should register for.

With that said, when you look at a roadmap Links to an external site., an advisor will be able to tell you if you should follow it completely or not.
