Cultural Approach: Analyzing the case from a cultural approach (Chapter 4 and Chapter 6 Frames 1 & 2), why are pharmaceutical companies hiring former female cheerleaders? Consider how gender differences would be explained based on Ashcraft's Frames 1 and 2 as well as the role of organizational cultural in organizational hiring practices.
Critical Approach: Analyzing the case from a critical approach (Chapter 5 and Chapter 6 Frames 3 & 4), why are pharmaceutical companies hiring former female cheerleaders? Consider the "hidden power" of stories to promote cultural values (Chapter 5) as well as larger narratives in popular culture (Frame 4) that influence organizational practices.
