#5 Points vs. Percentages

Canvas is updating its gradebook to be friendlier to those of us who use points instead of percentages.

Starting June 1, 2013, the gradebook will have a points display option for the total column.

If you point your mouse on the Total header a small window will open and you can select points. The column will then display the total points for each student.

Currently, students will still see the percentage only display and need to mouse over to see the total points. Their view will also change (if you select the points display option) in an subsequent release (soon).
