In the last two essays we read (Johnson & Williams), there are separate sides of a debate about social media use, democraticizing use of the Internet, and echo chamber of social media. At the conclusion of Tuesday's class, I asked everyone to take and bring a selfie to class.

Today, we're going to analyze that selfie!

Upload your selfie to this discussion post. In the post itself, include the following information in list form:

  1. What was the focus of your selfie?
  2. Did you post your selfie? where?
  3. What are the assumptions about the content of your selfie?
  4. What are the assumptions about the intended audience for your selfie?
