Record your raw notes here from our first day's discussion about 19th-century vs. 20th century.
Goals:
- Learn each other's names
- Compare information technology in 21st century Silicon Valley and 19th century London
Prompt:
Communicate in writing 1 sentence: our names are..... to someone in another country. How would you do that now and the 19th century. In a newspaper and on Twitter (and more). How long it would take? Who would be able to read it? What resources or technology would be involved?
This should be first impressions -- it doesn't have to be correct.
Team members will have the same raw notes (that's fine). We'll return on Tuesday to discuss (and possibly enhance) these ideas.
Then, we'll return to these ideas at the conclusion of the semester to reflect on their efficacy.
Completed/Incomplete: This means this post is recorded as part of participation grading. No points or actual grade assigned.
