This module reviews one of the most underutilized learning skills: knowing when and where to ask for help. In this module, you will be introduced to support systems available for you throughout your time at SJSU.

These include:

      • Academic Support Services
      • Advising
      • Career Exploration
      • Financial Aid
      • Health and Wellness Services

It is crucial to take advantage of these services, especially when you need help. Knowing where to find that help is the first step, and you are not on this journey alone.  If you have questions, need ideas or information, there are people across the university ready to help you.

This module includes links to different resources. The purpose of this module is to build your awareness of the resources available to you. We do recommend that you bookmark links to services that support your specific needs. 

Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of this module, you will be able to:

      1. Identify ways to get help in a variety of areas, from Health and Wellness to Tutoring and Career Development.   

      2. Schedule time to talk online with staff

      3. Explore further the resources that the university offers.
