Engagement Unit/Case Studies
The Case Studies give you an opportunity to apply what you've learned in the class to organizational communication situations. For COMM majors, you'll save the Case Studies for the ePortfolio you'll complete in COMM 199C, Senior Seminar. There are two main parts for the Case Study assignment:

Case Study Analyses
You'll analyze two case studies in the text:
- Case Study 1, Crisis in the Zion Emergency Room, Chapter 3, pp. 101-102 (125 points possible)
- Case Study 2, Rx for Sales: Recruit Cheerleaders!, Chapter 6, pp. 204-205 (125 points possible)
- Case Study Comments
You'll comment on what other wrote about in their Case Study Analyses. (50 points possible)
You'll develop all the assignments for Case Studies on the Post and Comment Discussion areas. You'll submit your Case Studies as webpages rather than traditional documents developed in a word processing program so you'll be able to share what you produce with your classmates.
